Facade design with glass
Glass has become an important part in modern architecture and facade design. Generally there are three printing techniques for individual glass facades:
Laminated safety glass Direct print on a PVB film, which holds two panes of glass together.
Ceramic screen printing In close cooperation with the glass industry, we offer ceramic screen prints for durable applications in single- or multi-colored versions. The baking of the paint takes place during the hardening process of the float glass to safety glass and offers maximum color stability, even when used on the outside. In most cases we offer the technical prepress (data processing and screen production).
High-performance film Special high-performance films ensure optimal adhesion and provide adequate UV protection.
Glass-facade with photo glass

In cooperation with the companies Eckelt Glas Steyr and Alutechnik Velden this very unusual project of a photo facade could be achieved.

Ceramic screen printing on glass with an elliptical dot pattern
Dentsu Tower, Tokyo
The south facade of the 213m high skyscraper was designed by the french architect Jean Nouvel with an elliptical dot pattern. The 35.000 m2 facade was partially printed with over 2.500 different designs. Within this project STAINER was responsible for the entire pre-press and screen production. The print was made by Steyr Eckelt glass with 12 different shades.
Ceramic screen printing on glass with chrome mirror coating
LENTOS museum of art, Linz
