Project Marchfeld-Center - printed aluminium composite panels

Construction report - spring / summer 2010

As part of the facade design of the new Marchfeld-Center in Großenzersdorf, about 1.500m² aluminium composite facade panels from Amari have been coated by screen printing or painted. For printing a total of 65 different screen color settings have been necessary.

The largest panels ranged up to 1.500 x 5.000mm.

65 different screen settings - a major challenge
The biggest challenge was painting the surface, with its many gradients. A total of 65 colors have been painted. With 32 different screen color settings a charcoal color ends in white. The same challenge was given with the green color, which also expires after 32 color shades in white.
